This document contains all the finalized information regarding our zine which includes basic information about the mods running the zine, our Timeline, and Frequently Asked Questions.

Theme
The guiding theme of the zine is “Freedom”. Contributors are welcome to interpret this in whatever way makes the most sense to them - this could be freedom on the court, freedom in the form of adventure in the world, or something else entirely!

About
This is a non-profit SFW fanzine dedicated to Haikyuu’s liberos and will be centered around the theme of “freedom’. Based on our interest check results this zine gladly welcomes canon and non-canon content. All funds and proceeds will be donated to the Deep South Center for Environmental Justice (Louisiana, Texas, Alabama). This is dedicated to improve the lives of children and families harmed by pollution and those that are vulnerable to climate change in the Gulf Coast Region through research, education, community and studen engagement for policy change.

The format of the zine will follow a storytelling book where the lives of the libero’s are told through the adventures they go through. All contributions will focus their works on our Haikyuu liberos as the star. The Liberos included in this project range from any team, former or current.

Where will you be shipping from?
We are shipping from the United States.

How will you handle orders from the UK?
We are kindly asking our buyers from the UK who are planning to buy physical merchandise to contact us via email [email protected]. All shipping information will be discussed privately via email.

What is the theme for this zine?
The theme of this zine is “Freedom”. We are aware that this is a very general theme hence the contributors are welcome to interpret this theme as they see fit.

Will the zine be a physical zine or a digital zine?
Physical or digital copies will depend on our sales. If we manage to reach our stretch goals for a physical zine then we will release a physical zine.

Will there be merch for this zine?
Yes there is our merchandise includes polaroid sheets, stickers, sticker sheets, acrylic charms, button pins, and washi tape.

Is this zine non-profit or for-profit? Where will the money from zine sales go??
This zine is a non-profit zine. The charity that we will be donating to is Deep South Center for Environmental Justice. The organization is dedicated to improving the lives of children and families harmed by pollution and vulnerable to climate change in the Gulf Coast Region through research, education, community, and study engagement for policy change.

How many pages is the zine?
The zine will be likely 88-96 pages.

How many contributors does your zine have?
We have 27 page artists.
10 merch artists.
12 Writers.

Is the zine strictly SFW?
Yes, the content in our zine is strictly SFW.

Will you be accepting group orders?
Yes we will, if you'd like to set up a group order please email us at [email protected]. The Group Order Manager will be discussing the process with Mod Lis who is in charge of shipping and sales.

Will contributors get a free copy of the zine?
All contributors will get a copy of the digital zine. As of now, all contributors can purchase the zine at production price. This may change if our earnings can cover production costs.

What is the size of the final zine?
A5! But all artworks must be 2515 x 3543 px (A5 + 3mm bleeding) 300 DP

Will libero x non-libero shippings be included in the zine?
Unfortunately, we will not be allowing libero x non-libero pairings in our zine since we want the focus to be on libero pairings. Although we will allow non-libero Haikyuu characters in our content it must be centered around the liberos.

Are there AUs and headcanons in the zine?
Yes, there are!

What will be the payment options available when it comes to purchasing the zine?
Payments will be processed through Paypal.

If I order the merch bundle (Freedom bundle) only without purchasing the physical copy of the zine will I still be eligible for the stretch goals?
Yes you will. If you purchase the "Freedom" bundle your bundle will include the stretch goals IF they are met!

Once you've emailed us, the shipping moderator will send the Group Order Manager an invoice for the combined orders to collect the payment.

Guidelines

ARTISTS

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
— Background is required for all pieces.
The anatomy of the character and overall composition will be looked at.
The ability to tell a story in one illustration page will also be looked at.
— You must provide a portfolio link that includes 3 examples of your work with a background. Drawing of any libero from Haikyuu is preferred.

ZINE SPECIFICS
— All pieces must be original and created by you
— Each artist is limited to 2 zine submissions (If you wish to do more, let me know)
— All artwork submitted must be in colour with backgrounds, A5 size (2515 x 3543 px), 300 DPI, The .psd template can be found here. All submissions must be in the .psd format with all the layers flatten
— If you wish to create a comic, the maximum pages allowed is 4 but let us know beforehand if you decide to do it.
— If you do a comic, you are allowed only 1 submission

MERCH ARTISTS

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
— Must have a portfolio linked to at least 3 examples of your work.
— Your examples should be in the style you plan to use for the zine. If you want to draw in a chibi style, then submit chibi artwork.
— Drawing of any libero is preferred.

ZINE SPECIFICS
— Artwork must be original and made by you
— All artwork must be in full colour and 300dpi setting
— All submissions must be in the .psd format with all the layers flatten and in 300 DPI

WRITERS

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
— You must provide 3 examples of your work. You can either submit a link or email a pdf document.
— Your examples must be around 1000-3000 words. If your works are not this short you can submit chapters.
— Proper use of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style will be looked at.

ZINE SPECIFICS
— All pieces must be original and written by you
— Each writer is limited to 1 zine submission
— Each submission must be between 1000-3000 words. If you require more space, don’t be afraid to approach the mods
— Beta readers that are not from the zine are allowed
— Final submission should be in Georgia font at size 11
